Fill free to share this video of the drug house

Report this to the city, the more noise we make the better chance we will have to get a response.

Report to code enforcement

Deputy Sheriff Steve gave me this info.
He attempted to put preassure on the city of code enforcement to fine the drug house owner. Steve did his best but at one point the city stop returning his calls. This shows you that is not easy for the police to do somethings.

Deputy sheriff Steve told me to contact the city directly and put preassure on them to take action. The idea is to report any problems of this house that we can see. This way the city will have to investigate and hopefuly fine the home owner to the point that maybe they'll move.

The person to bug over there is:

Lav, Scott (Contractor)
Contact email is:
slau@dpa.lacounty.gov
His office is Code enforcement officer for LA City

Things are escalating something scary

Today I received and extremely disturbing report from one of our neighbors.
The driver of the known "Blue car" is attempting to extort monies from a neighbor. This individual has made up a story of an incident and has repetedly contated our neighbor to ask for money on this made up story. The most scary part is that, this indivudual and his claims have to do with our neighbors daughter. Wiht the half thought up story this individual made, now he is trying to complete it by searching out our neighbors daughter. The police have been contacted but this situation is shown to have taken a much more serious direction. This is the type of behavior our "Drug hours has invited" We can only imagine what way they can come up with to get money for their drugs! How long more can we let them stay here?

This one is diggin for more than trash!

Our anonymous neighbor supplied us with these images. What I have done is to tell them not to go through my trash. I have told this to other people and to the Drug house tenants. This has stopped them at my trash cans. It happens that if some home owners doesn't tell them anything, the scabangers will take that as if it's okay for them to continue to do what they do. This is also true of them taking over of our neighborhoods. It is also clear that all of us want them out but most of us hope and stand by to let someone else do what it takes to get them out. Every single one of us need to take action participate and voice our disgust with this illness of people. Complaining between us and bervaly and telling our neighbors how disgusted we are will not get results, our anger and expessing that we want them out needs to be directed to those people and the police. Let's all take action towards where it counts. You may start here!

(PLEASE POST ON BLOG ANONYMOUSLY)

Juan,
Thank you for your efforts in putting together this blog. We were out of town when the community meeting was held. We have tolerated these transients and Ben for a very long time. I don't quite understand why the police department can not elimenate these people who are not legal residents...they do not own or rent this property. Can't the PD put pressure on Ben's uncle, the owner, to get rid of these people loitering in this property? The PD is well aware of every activity that has happened there. The police come out, make a big production, corral everyone in the house, handcuff all of them at gunpoint while SWAT and the helicopter team looks on only to detain them for 30 minutes, in separate police cars, then release the handcuffs and let them free !!!! What was with that?? The police returned the next morning and as these idiots are cursing and hollering, they go to the door, talk to them, then leaves. What an extreme waste of police time and tax payer money. A huge waste considering these people probably do not pay taxes......they just take from the government.

I have worried countless days and nights about my young adult children coming and going. These people know all about our daily activities. There are many young women within a very close proximity, that are very nervous about the activities and transient males lurking from the yard or their cars as they go to school or work. It is time we as tax paying, law abiding, hard working citizens of Palo Del Amo Woods take control of this situation. This would not be occuring if we were in Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills or Torrance. Do we not deserve the right to peace in our neighborhoods? We have all paid alot of money for our homes. Most of us take great pride in maintaining them. This corner of Berendo has been hideous for years!

We must also work with the Homeowner's Association in this matter as they had been very active in past years. We can no longer be tolerant of the activities of Ben's Wayward Drughouse and Brothel.

If you have an email address to the detective, please forward to me. I am not home during the day so I have not had opportunity to speak with the investigators that have interview some of the residents.

Frustrated, worried Mom in the Woods.

Another neighbor who has had it!

juan,
while i appreciate everything you are doing and saying, i am really concerned for your safety in using your private email, phone number, etc. i think you should create an anonymous email that doesnt point *you* out directly. the reason why i say this is,,, retaliation. scums dont have anything to lose and basically dont care about life.
you have a beautiful family that needs to flourish. please consider this.
secondly, if there are issues of animal abuse please, get on the phone to animal control in carson 310-523-9566 as they serve our area. get on the phone daily or whenever abuse is suspected and have everyone call repeatedly, make sure to remain anonymous as they have been known to inform the abuser of who called in to make the complaint. i will be calling first thing in the morning to have them come out and check if the dog is being abused and if the animal is licensed and inoculated.
thirdly, the guy who drives the tan/gold maxima and now resides in the drug den,,, his parents live on koleeta in the house with the lion statue in the front yard. beware as they may feed information to their drugged out son.
lastly, the recycling center on lomita blvd...
we should start putting a lot of pressure on them in the near future as they are a big help to our very large problem. the recycling center is a source of income for the transients in our community besides drugs and prostitution. this includes the tent camps, the rundown motor homes, ben and his scummy friends. we can start with environmental issues, zoning laws, water run off, public nuisance, to name a few from the recycling center.
i think if the recycling center were to be run out of town the transients would relocate and we would have a nice place to live.
keep up the good work on the photos. good pictures of new druggies/cars at bens will allow us to quickly identify the degenerates.
i will post more info as time allows.
all the best!

This is from a neighbor who wishes to stay anonymous

(This neighbor may chose to post her own comment direct)

Hi Juan..
I am writing to tell you that I think it is great that you have come up with this idea of letting the people of Palo Del Amo Woods express their opinions in a way that will get something done and hopeful get these idiots out of our neighborhood. Although I would like to remain anonymous Id like to say that I am a resident of PDAW and am a 20 year old female.. with this said having these people coming in and out of the house makes me feel very unsafe and uncomfortable with living here. I feel as if I cannot go to my car (whether it be parked in the driveway or on the street) without feeling like i am being looked at and watched. It may be somewhat of a paranoia but I do not like going out of the house with shorts on, tank tops, dresses or anything that may draw attention to myself for people that live to see and potentially do something to. I am constantly looking out the window seeing cars come and go, trash being thrown into the street, smoke coming from the backyard, hearing the screams of the dogs that stay there at night, cussing and screaming and yelling, transient looking people walking all over the neighborhood, constant watching of our homes, and even the man in the blue saturn (whom is absolutely disgusting & from what i have seen a worthless piece of -) saying things to women when they get out of their casr, harassing them! Baskets from local stores thrown at random places in the community, going through our trash cans, parking cars in front of our homes (something i personally hate) putting us out of the way when we have to find other places to park (which is absolutely ridiculous when we pay to live here and they DONT!). The other thing i dont understand is why the police get called out here.. arrest these idiots.. and then let them go after a few minutes. i just dont get why they do that. Isn't there something that can get these people gone???? aside from paying taxes or whatever else they are trying to use. The fact that they are disrupting our community, wasting the money WE pay through taxes to have the police come out, doing drugs, animal cruelty and prostitution should be enough...shouldn't it??? I just dont see why it has taken so long to get these people out of the neighborhood. are the police even doing there jobs! it just gets me so upset that people like them can live here perfectly fine and have us, the residents, who actually pay the bills on constant alert and worry from the actions they do. How can they live there while Ben is in jail???? He killed a dog with a hammer!??? does that not scream for help.. shouldn't they all be put out because of this. It really doesn't seem that Ben is the bad person in all of this.. it is the low lifes that he puts up with. If he or any of those other people ever approached me.. i will honestly think about severely hurting them. Every night around 10:00/10:30 or so i hear a terrible scream from the dogs in the back yard..its terrible. So basically to wrap this up.. How can we get these people out of here?!! quick! I am very willing to help and to get these people out. I am here mostly all hours throughout the day since i work from home and i will take pictures...video...call the police every time i hear the even slightest thing. These people are ruining our lives.. there are children, young women and the elderly that live in this family oriented community. They do not belong!!!!!!!!!!!! I absolutely detest these people (Esp. the man in the blue car) and the many people that come through the neighborhood. Together we can get these drug addicts out.. and finally be at PEACE! Feel free to email me anytime.. i will also keep you posted with daily events that i hear and see over the next few weeks regarding ben and his friends. thankyou again for starting this!
best.
